We approach disappearance not as simple loss, but as a symptom through which contemporary value systems and institutional priorities are revealed.
SDG: 소멸대응국은 사라져가는 공간과 프로젝트, 그리고 그것을 가능하게 하거나 소거하는 사회적·문화적 조건들을 다루는 비영리 크리에이티브 콜렉티브입니다.
전시, 리서치, 아카이브, 협업적 개입을 통해 SDG는 쉽게 지워지는 장소성과 실험적 실천들을 다시 공적 감각의 영역 안으로 호출하며, 예술이 기억과 지속의 형식을 새롭게 구성할 수 있는 조건을 탐색합니다.
SDG (Bureau of Disappearance Response) is a non-profit creative collective engaging with vanishing spaces and projects, and the social and cultural conditions that enable or erase them.
Through exhibitions, research, archives, and collaborative interventions, SDG recalls easily-erased senses of place and experimental practices back into the realm of public perception, exploring the conditions under which art can newly compose forms of memory and continuity.
